You must register for and attend a GED test prep orientation before joining the Pre-GED or GED Test Preparation classes. Orientations are held most Wednesdays at 5:00PM in Adult School Room 203.  Register for an orientation
Pre-GED Test Preparation Class – open entry/exit

Pre-GED Test Preparation Class – open entry/exit

Designed primarily for ESL advanced students whose first language is not English, but who can speak and understand spoken English, and any adults who need extensive instruction in reading, vocabulary, and basic writing skills in order to advance to our regular GED prep classes. For students wishing to take the GED test in order to get a job, keep a job, or qualify for financial aid and attend a community college. You must register for and attend a GED prep orientation prior to registering for this class. Required orientations are held most Wednesdays at 5:00PM in Adult School Room 203. Free. Instructor: Staff. Morning program meets Monday through Friday 8:45-11:45AM, Adult School Room 106. Evening program meets Monday through Thursday 6:00-8:30PM, Adult School Room 106.

Individualized instruction and group discussion are offered to students in English language arts, writing, math, social studies, and science. You must register for and attend a GED Prep class orientation prior to registering for this class. Required orientations are held most Wednesdays at 5:00PM in Adult School Room 203. Free. Instructor: Staff. Classes available Monday through Friday 8:45-11:45AM and Monday through Thursday 6:00-8:30PM. Adult School Room 106.
GED Testing

GED Testing

MVLA Adult School is an official Pearson VUE computer-based GED test center. Registration is done online at GED.com. GED Testing Service has no requirement that test-takers pay for all tests at one time. Students can register, schedule, and pay for only parts of the test they are ready to take. When registering, MVLA Adult School can be selected as your testing site. Tests are held at the Adult School two nights per week. Test fee: $140 for the complete battery of (4) tests or $35 per test.
