GED TEST PREPARATION CLASSES
Will start late August 2021
Pre-GED and GED classes are now available in the comfort of your own home through distance learning! Morning and evening distance learning classes are open for enrollment. In order to qualify for the GED program, students are required to attend an online orientation and take a placement test. Students must register for an orientation in advance on our online registration site. A Zoom link will be emailed to students the day before an orientation.
This is an online class and meetings will be held via Zoom, which allows participants to be heard and seen on-screen. Instructor will email meeting information to students prior to the first class. Students will need to download and install the Zoom application on a computer, tablet, mobile phone, or other device with an Internet connection and microphone/webcam.
MVLA Adult School is an official Pearson VUE computer-based GED test center. Due to the extended physical school closure, the MVLA Adult School is not currently offering onsite GED Testing. Please check back in late August for more updates.
Testing candidates: check Pearson VUE's COVID-19 update page to look for testing availability and review the health and safety measures required for testing. Appointment availability is limited due to social distancing precautions and varies by location. Online testing is available for students 18 years and older who have passed the GED Ready tests.
