Community Interest and Older Adults Computer Class

Looking to develop a new interest or stay connected with MVLA Adult School's classroom community? MVLA Adult School instructors are offering an exciting array of classes! Enrich yourself by learning a new language or skill through a teacher-led class. Please read the individual class descriptions in the course catalog for information and requirements. Feel free to contact instructors if you have any questions about their classes.

All Community Interest & Older Adults classes offer a discounted rate for students 55 and older.

ZOOM SOFTWARE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING

Some Community Interest & Older Adults classes are held via Zoom. Instructors will send enrolled students a Zoom link 1-3 days before the start of class.

Zoom software is available for Windows and Macintosh desktop computers, Apple iOS devices, and Android devices. Visit the Zoom Download Center to obtain the Zoom Client for Meetings and/or Zoom Mobile Apps. For help getting started, visit the Zoom Help Center.

If you are using a Chromebook, there is a Zoom extension for ChromeOS available from the Chrome Web Store. For information about getting started with the ChromeOS version of Zoom, visit Getting Started On Chrome OS at the Zoom Help Center.
