The Mountain View Los Altos Adult School has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) since 1965. WASC accreditation is an ongoing cycle of quality and is used by schools to monitor student learning and set school improvement goals. Six years is the highest accreditation awarded by WASC to any school. The Adult School was most recently awarded a six-year accreditation on April 28, 2023.
